I have 128MB of SDRAM. Windows ME is running fine but XP is coming out soon. Should I upgrade to 256MB or 512MB? Is there a big performance difference?

128MB is the absolute minimum for XP. 256MB is comfortable. 512MB is luxury but makes a huge difference if you run Photoshop or Premiere.

I went from 128 to 256 and XP is noticeably snappier. The price has come down a lot — 256MB stick is about $40 now.
