Is Internet Explorer 6 better than IE5?

IE6 just shipped with XP. Anyone using it on Windows 98/2000 yet? Is it worth upgrading from IE5.5? I mostly care about speed and compatibility.

The CSS support is slightly better but it still doesn't do much right. Tabbed browsing is the real reason to try Opera instead.

IE6 crashes constantly for me. IE5.5 was more stable honestly.
