GTA III just came out for PS2. I've heard it's a revolution — open world, 3D, you can do literally anything. But is it really worth $49? The violence sounds extreme, which honestly makes me more curious.

It's the most impressive game I've ever played. You can carjack any vehicle, do story missions, or just cause mayhem. The city feels alive — pedestrians react, police respond. Nothing like it.

The radio stations alone are worth the price. Three talk shows and several music stations, all with original content. I've been listening to Chatterbox FM for hours just to hear the callers.

My wife is furious about how much I've been playing this. 100% worth $49.

The violence is over the top but honestly it reads as absurdist cartoon violence, not realistic. More like a Tarantino film than a snuff film.
