I worked at a dot-com for 2 years. It folded in January. Half my resume is this one company. Interviewers keep asking "is it still operating?" and I have to say no. How do I present this without it being a red flag? |

Lead with specific accomplishments and measurable results, not the company name. 'Increased user retention 40%' is more compelling than 'worked at StartupX'. Lots of people are in the same boat — it's not the black mark it was 12 months ago. |

Tech hiring managers understand completely. The question they're really asking is 'can you handle uncertainty and ambiguity?' Have a good answer about what you learned and they'll respect it. |

List it honestly, don't apologize for it. Half of Silicon Valley is in the same position. Companies like IBM and Cisco are actively recruiting experienced dot-com refugees right now. |
