Just registered my first domain name for $35/year through Network Solutions. Got hosting through Pair Networks for $8/month with PHP, MySQL, and email. Having myname@mydomain.com instead of myname@hotmail.com feels incredibly professional. If anyone needs help setting up their own domain, happy to walk through the process. |

Network Solutions is highway robbery at $35/year. Check out Namesecure or Dotster — same service for $15/year. |

The email alone is worth the cost. Having your own domain makes you look like you know what you're doing, even if you don't lol. |

Pair Networks is solid. Been with them for 2 years with zero downtime issues. Their support is excellent too. |
