Just finished the main story of GTA III on PS2 and I'm still processing it. The jump from top-down 2D to a fully 3D open world is insane. You can literally go anywhere, steal any car, and cause absolute chaos. Or follow the story. Or just drive around listening to the radio.

The radio stations alone are worth the price. Lazlow is a genius.

This game is going to change the industry forever. Every developer is going to try to make their own open-world game now. The freedom is unprecedented.

The controversy about the violence is already getting intense. My parents wouldn't let me buy it so my friend lent me his copy lol.

I've spent more time just driving around and listening to Chatterbox FM than actually doing missions. The talk radio is hilarious.

The draw distance and pop-in is pretty bad on PS2 but honestly who cares, the gameplay is so good it doesn't matter.
