We do LAN parties at my friend's apartment every month and Age of Empires II is ALWAYS in the rotation. 4v4 Black Forest is basically a tradition at this point. The game is 2 years old and nothing has topped it for multiplayer RTS fun.

What's your favorite civ? I'm a Britons main. Longbowmen are absurdly overpowered and I have no shame.

Mongols for the Mangudai. Fast, deadly, and hilarious in numbers. Black Forest 4v4 is peak gaming.

Goths. Spam infantry until the opponent drowns. It's not elegant but it works and it's extremely funny.

The Conquerors expansion made this game even better. The Spanish Conquistadors and Aztec Eagle Warriors are great additions.
