Aaron Sorkin's writing on The West Wing is in a class by itself. The walk-and-talk scenes, the rapid-fire dialogue, the idealistic vision of government. Martin Sheen as Bartlet is perfect. Season 3 is airing now and the quality hasn't dropped at all. Is this the best drama on network (non-cable) television? |

Best written show on TV, period. The dialogue is so sharp that I rewind scenes just to appreciate the writing. Sorkin is a genius. |

The Two Cathedrals episode from the end of Season 2 is the single best episode of any show I've ever watched. Sheen deserved every award for that performance. |
