Toxicity is one of the most insane albums I've heard. The genre-blending is unlike anything else — metal, folk, punk, Armenian music, and somehow it all works. Chop Suey! is the song of the year.

The political lyrics hit different post-9/11 too. Serj Tankian has something important to say and the music is the perfect vehicle.

Chop Suey should have been a bigger hit but radio stations pulled it after 9/11 because of the title. Which is insane because the song is about mortality, not terrorism.

Bounce is the most fun song on the album. The energy is insane. Try not to move when that riff hits. It's impossible.

The album works because every member is incredible. John Dolmayan's drumming is criminally underappreciated. The guy is relentless.
