What's everyone's preferred home coffee brewing method? French press, pour-over, espresso machine, moka pot? And what beans are you using?

French press is the gateway drug. Next step: get a burr grinder. Grinding fresh makes a bigger difference than any brewing method. Pre-ground coffee is already stale.

Moka pot on the stove. Italian-style espresso for basically free. The Bialetti 6-cup is like $25 and makes incredible concentrated coffee.

Pour-over with a Melitta cone is my daily driver. Clean cup, full control over extraction. Cheap to buy, cheap to maintain.
