I've seen all the obvious stuff. Give me something I'd miss if I only watched blockbusters.

Memento. If you haven't seen it, go in completely blind. Don't read anything about it. Just watch it. You'll thank me.

Office Space. The most accurate depiction of corporate cubicle life ever filmed. If you've ever had an office job, this will speak to your soul.

Run Lola Run. German film, 80 minutes long, non-stop adrenaline. It's basically a video game as a movie. Incredibly creative.

The Usual Suspects if you somehow haven't seen it. The ending will blow your mind the first time.

Dark City. Criminally underseen sci-fi thriller. Came out the same year as The Matrix and got totally overshadowed. Arguably better.
