Some forums show post counts next to usernames and some don't. On one hand it shows who's active and experienced. On the other hand it encourages people to post 'me too' just to bump their count.

What does everyone think? Should post count be visible or hidden?

Show it but don't make it prominent. A small number next to the username is fine. Making it a big deal with ranks and titles encourages spam.

Post count is useful for gauging whether someone is a regular or a drive-by poster. Keep it visible.
