Devil May Cry on PS2 is the most stylish action game ever made. The combo system rewards creativity — juggling enemies in the air with gunshots while slashing with a sword is endlessly satisfying. And Dante is the coolest protagonist since... well, ever.

The difficulty is brutal on Hard mode but in a way that makes you want to get better, not quit.

The SSStyle meter that grades your combos is genius. It makes you want to find cooler, longer combos just to see that S rank. Pure gameplay satisfaction.

Dante is all style. The gun-juggle into Stinger combo is one of the most satisfying things I've done in any game. Capcom nailed the feel.
