Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II is a GameCube launch title and it looks like it belongs on a next-next-gen console. The Battle of Yavin trench run is a childhood dream come true. The Death Star surface detail is insane.

Factor 5 is working magic with the GameCube hardware. This might be the best Star Wars game since TIE Fighter.

The Hoth level with the AT-AT takedown using tow cables is EXACTLY what I imagined as a kid watching Empire Strikes Back. Gaming perfection.

Graphically this is the most impressive console game I've seen. The particle effects during the Death Star explosion are jaw-dropping.

TIE Fighter is still the GOAT Star Wars game but Rogue Leader is the closest anything has come. Both are essential for Star Wars fans.
