Naughty Dog's Jak and Daxter just dropped on PS2 and it's a fantastic 3D platformer. Seamless world with zero loading screens, gorgeous art style, and really tight controls. It's clearly inspired by Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie but has its own personality.

Is this the platform mascot PS2 has been missing?

The no-loading-screen technology is genuinely impressive. You can see from one end of the world to the other. No other PS2 game does this.

Daxter is one of the funniest sidekick characters in gaming. His commentary during gameplay is consistently hilarious.
