Dropped my 3310 down the stairs, in a puddle, off a moving bike. Still works perfectly. They dont make them like this anymore.

No credit check, no surprise bills with prepaid. Contract gives a cheaper phone and lower per-minute rates. Depends on your usage.

Predictive text felt impossible at first. Now I can text without looking. SMS is cheaper than calling for quick messages.

Compare the carrier plans carefully. Free nights starting at 7pm vs 9pm makes a huge difference for evening callers.

My new Nokia plays actual melodies instead of beeps. Downloaded a ringtone for $2. Is that worth it? The novelty is fun.
