You dont need a $1000 set to learn. A used half-set or a beginner box set gets you on the course. Upgrade later.

Course management beats heroics. Play safe, avoid the big number, and putt well. Smart golf breaks 100, not perfect golf.

The driving range, a putting mat at home, and chipping in the backyard. Regular short practice beats rare long sessions.
