Google is hiring a Web Search Quality Analyst to help us deliver the best search results on the internet. We’re a small but fast-growing team in Mountain View, and we take search quality very seriously.

You’ll be responsible for evaluating search results, developing quality guidelines, and working closely with our engineering team to identify areas for improvement. We currently process over 100 million searches per day and are growing rapidly.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate search result quality across a wide range of query types
• Document quality findings and write clear, actionable reports
• Develop and maintain internal search quality guidelines
• Identify spam, low-quality, and manipulative web pages
• Work with engineers to test new ranking algorithm changes

Requirements

• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent written communication ability
• Passion for the internet and familiarity with how search engines work
• Attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive evaluation tasks
• BA/BS degree preferred
