Community Manager
MP3.com is the world’s largest online music community with over 500,000 registered artists and millions of fans. We’re looking for a passionate Community Manager to nurture and grow our artist and listener communities.
Responsibilities
- Moderate artist and fan forums, resolving disputes and enforcing community guidelines
- Respond to community feedback and escalate issues to the product team
- Plan and execute community events, contests, and artist spotlights
- Write weekly community newsletters and blog posts
- Identify and engage with top artist and fan contributors
Requirements
- Genuine passion for music and the independent music scene
- 1+ years of community management or customer service experience
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable working with online community tools and discussion forums
- Ability to stay calm and professional in heated community situations
