iVillage, the premier online destination for women, is looking for a talented Junior Web Designer to join our creative team in New York City. You’ll work alongside experienced designers on a high-traffic, content-rich website visited by millions of women every month.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics, icons, and page layouts for iVillage.com
• Build HTML pages and email newsletters following brand guidelines
• Assist senior designers on major campaign executions
• Maintain existing page templates and design assets
• Resize, optimize, and export images for web delivery

Requirements

• 1+ years of web design experience (internships count)
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Working knowledge of HTML and table-based layouts
• Portfolio demonstrating clean, attractive web designs
• Ability to work quickly under deadline pressure
