By accessing or using any part of flamenet.io (“the Service” or “Flamenet”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, employers, and any other person who accesses or uses the Service in any way.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Flamenet. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you are 13 or older.
If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
If you are using Flamenet on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and the terms “you” and “your” refer to that entity.
Flamenet is not available to any person or entity that has previously been suspended or removed from the Service.
To access certain features you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to provide a valid email address and an accurate username. You may not impersonate another person, use a name that is offensive or misleading, or register an account on behalf of someone else without their explicit consent.
Each person may hold one registered account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension, to manipulate votes or reputation, or for any other deceptive purpose is a violation of these Terms and may result in the permanent termination of all associated accounts.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Choose a strong, unique password that you do not use on any other service. Flamenet will never ask for your password by email, chat, or any means other than the sign-in form on flamenet.io.
If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at security@flamenet.io and change your password at once.
You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized that activity. Flamenet is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account caused by your failure to keep your credentials secure.

We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of significant changes.
Flamenet is built for genuine human interaction and community. You agree to use the Service in a manner consistent with these principles:

robots.txt and ai.txt, or using any automated means to collect data without our express written permission.You retain ownership of the content you post to Flamenet. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your posts, listings, uploads, or messages.
By posting content to any public or semi-public area of Flamenet (forum threads, groups, answers, listings, events, the link directory), you grant Flamenet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to the retention terms in our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. By submitting content, you represent that:
Flamenet reserves the right to review, remove, or edit any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service or its users. We are not obligated to monitor all content but will act on credible reports of violations.

If you create a listing on Flamenet, you represent that:
By placing a bid or completing a Buy It Now purchase, you enter into a binding agreement with the seller. Flamenet is a venue — we are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers and are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any item.
Buy It Now payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By completing a payment you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Flamenet does not store your payment card information.
Disputes between buyers and sellers are the responsibility of those parties. Flamenet may, at its discretion, assist in resolving disputes but is under no obligation to do so. Fraudulent listings or transactions should be reported to abuse@flamenet.io.
Flamenet does not currently charge listing fees or take a commission on sales. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with at least 30 days' advance notice to registered users.
By posting a job listing, you represent that the position is genuine, legally compliant, and accurately described. You may not post listings that discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics, require payment from applicants, or advertise positions for illegal activities.
By submitting a job application or professional profile on Flamenet, you confirm that all information provided is truthful and accurate. Your application and profile data (including any uploaded resume) are shared with the employer whose listing you applied to. You consent to that sharing by submitting an application.
Flamenet is a job board only. We are not an employer, recruiter, or staffing agency. We make no representations about the quality, safety, or legitimacy of any job posting or employer on the platform. Conduct your own due diligence before accepting any offer.
The Flamenet Messaging feature is intended for genuine person-to-person communication between registered users. You may not use Messaging to:
While messages are encrypted at rest, Flamenet reserves the right to decrypt and review message contents in response to a verified abuse report, a legal order, or a credible threat to user safety. All administrative access to message contents is logged.
The Flamenet name, logo, design, software, and all original content created by Flamenet are the property of Flamenet and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its underlying software, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service, unless this is expressly permitted by law or by us in writing.
Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to use the Flamenet name or logo.
If you believe that content on Flamenet infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include:

We will respond to valid notices promptly and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without prior notice, for any of the following reasons:
For serious violations — particularly those involving illegal content, child safety, or threats of violence — we may terminate without notice and report the violation to appropriate authorities.
You may close your account at any time by contacting privacy@flamenet.io. On closure, your personal data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service immediately ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 7 (User Content), 11 (Intellectual Property), 14 (Disclaimers), 15 (Limitation of Liability), and 16 (Indemnification) — will continue to apply.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Flamenet disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content on the Service.
Flamenet is not responsible for the content, accuracy, safety, or legality of third-party links submitted to the Link Directory or included in any user-generated content. You access external links at your own risk.
Flamenet is not responsible for any job listing, employer representation, or employment outcome arising from use of the Jobs feature.
Flamenet is not responsible for any transaction between buyers and sellers in the Listings marketplace.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Flamenet, its operators, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising under or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Flamenet in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Flamenet and its operators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right, privacy right, or contractual obligation; or (d) any content you submit to the Service.
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and add an entry to the changelog below. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice to registered users via the email address on your account.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, close your account before the effective date.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to the Service will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Flamenet operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction therein.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Flamenet regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements or understandings, written or oral, relating to the Service.
