Keanu Reeves discovers reality is a computer simulation. The bullet-time effects changed cinema forever. "There is no spoon." I've seen it 14 times. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) ***** OH. MY. GOD. Peter Jackson did it. He actually did it. Three hours of pure Tolkien magic. The Mines of Moria sequence had my jaw on the floor. Gandalf vs. the Balrog = greatest movie moment EVER. Cannot wait for The Two Towers!! Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) **** Great adaptation! Daniel Radcliffe IS Harry Potter. The Quidditch match was amazing. Took off one star because they left out Peeves the poltergeist. The kids at my school are going CRAZY for this. Shrek (2001) **** Dreamworks finally gives Pixar a run for their money! So many jokes for adults hidden in there. Eddie Murphy as Donkey steals every scene. "That'll do, Donkey. That'll do." Tomb Raider (2001) ** Angelina Jolie looks the part but the plot makes zero sense.
