I am pleasantly pleased to announce the BBS server is now active. Download a telnet application of your choice and use the connection string bbs.flamenet.io with port 8888. Below is an example.

telnet bbs.flamenet.io 8888

If you want to create an account select Apply.

Remember this is NOT secure. There is no encryption. What you post is transmitted in the clear. I may secure this in the future, however the idea is to create a service like it was in the early days of the internet. Use at your own risk.

Alternatively, once you create an account and want to ssh

ssh -p 8889 -l <username> bbs.flamenet.io
