- They were bred in Scotland in the 1860s
- Average lifespan: 10-12 years
- They're natural swimmers - webbed feet!
- Most goldens would follow a stranger home for a treat
Training Tips:
- Start training at 8 weeks
- Use positive reinforcement (treats work GREAT with goldens)
- Socialize early and often
- They need at least 1 hour of exercise per day
- Brush 2-3 times per week (the FUR. So much fur.)
