Grandma Betty's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies
(The ORIGINAL recipe, not that Neiman Marcus urban legend!)
Grandma's Secret: Chill the dough for 24 hours before baking! It makes ALL the difference. Bake at 375 degrees for 9-11 minutes. Do NOT overbake!

| 2 1/4 cups | All-purpose flour |
| 1 tsp | Baking soda |
| 1 tsp | Salt |
| 1 cup (2 sticks) | Butter, softened |
| 3/4 cup | Granulated sugar |
| 3/4 cup | Packed brown sugar |
| 2 large | Eggs |
| 1 tsp | Vanilla extract |
| 2 cups | Chocolate chips |
