Hotmail vs Yahoo Mail — which free email is better?

My Hotmail account is getting absolutely buried in spam. Like 50+ junk emails a day. Yahoo Mail seems to have better spam filtering but the interface is slower. What's everyone using for their main email? Is there a free option that actually handles spam well? |

Yahoo Mail's spam filter is noticeably better than Hotmail right now. I switched 6 months ago and the difference is night and day. |

Has anyone tried this new Gmail thing from Google? Oh wait, that's not out yet. Nevermind. Yahoo Mail for now. |

I run my own email on my personal domain. It's the only way to really control spam. But for free, Yahoo is the best option right now. |
