My PC wont POST - where to start

No beeps, no display. Reseat the RAM and video card first. Then check the power supply. Process of elimination saves the day.

Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy together catch almost everything. Run in Safe Mode for the really stubborn stuff.

Write down the STOP code before rebooting. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL usually means a driver. PAGE_FAULT often means bad RAM.
