First marker buying guide

A reliable mechanical marker like a Tippmann 98 lasts forever and is easy to maintain. Skip the cheap blister-pack guns.

Staying clean - avoiding hits

Move between cover, never stay still, and play tight to your bunker. The player who exposes the least gets tagged the least.

Took me a while to wrap my head around this but it makes total sense now.

Woodsball vs speedball
Jul 29, 2025 6:45 am
Woodsball is tactical and slower-paced. Speedball is fast, aggressive, and burns paint quick. Try both and see what fits.

I am bookmarking, printing, AND saving this to a floppy. Too good to lose.

Maintaining your marker
Jun 11, 2025 1:45 pm
Clean the barrel, oil the o-rings, and check the air system after every game. A neglected marker chops paint and jams.

Adding one tip: make sure you double-check everything before you start. Trust me.

My two cents: start simple and build from there. Dont overcomplicate it.
