A clean first touch buys you time and space. Practice trapping the ball against a wall - 15 minutes a day works wonders.

Indoor is fast, high-scoring, and great in winter. Outdoor is the real game. Indoor sharpens your close control beautifully.

Check the parks department, indoor sports centers, and community boards. Most cities have leagues for every skill level.
