Skip the impenetrable tomes at first. A good history of philosophy gives you the map. Then dive into whatever sparks your curiosity.

The Stoics were practical. Focus on what you control, accept what you dont. Marcus Aurelius reads like a modern self-help book.

You dont need a degree. Read primary texts, discuss with others, and think hard. This salon is proof it can be done.
