The top-tier card is never the smart buy. The card one tier down gives you 90% of the performance for half the price.

A great GPU paired with a weak CPU is bottlenecked. Build a balanced machine - no single part should starve the rest.

Good airflow, clean filters, and decent case fans. Heat kills performance and components. Cooling is not optional.

Upgrade when games you want to play actually struggle - not because a new part launched. Chasing the latest is a money pit.

More RAM helps up to a point, then it is wasted money. Hitting the sweet spot matters more than maxing it out.
