How do I connect to ICQ?

Flamenet supports ICQ 2000b — the classic instant messaging client from the early 2000s. ICQ 2000b is the only version of ICQ that works with the Flamenet server.

Your ICQ UIN (Universal Internet Number) is the numeric ID you use to sign in. You can create or find your UIN on the ICQ Sign-In page.

To connect ICQ 2000b to Flamenet, you need to:

  1. Install ICQ 2000b — choose the guide for your operating system below.
  2. Configure the server hostname — point ICQ at icq.flamenet.io via the Windows Registry.
  3. Sign in — enter your UIN and password at the login screen.

Select your platform for the complete step-by-step guide:

Note: Do not create a new user inside the ICQ registration wizard. Create your Flamenet ICQ account on the ICQ Sign-In page first, then use those credentials when you sign in to the client.
