How do I share a file?

You can generate a public share link for any of your files and send it to anyone — they do not need a Flamenet account to download it.

Creating a share link

  1. Visit /files/ and sign in.
  2. Find the file you want to share and click Share.
  3. Optionally set an expiry date. After that date the link stops working. Leave blank for no expiry.
  4. Click Create Share Link. The share URL is displayed — copy it and send it to the recipient.

Revoking a share link

To stop sharing a file, click Unshare next to the file. The share link is immediately invalidated and any future attempts to use it will return a 404 error.

Note: Only one share link can be active per file at a time. Creating a new share link replaces the previous one.
