How do I stay organized with school assignments and deadlines?
I keep losing track of assignments and missing deadlines because I have so many classes and things due. How do organized students keep track of everything? Should I use a planner, a calendar, lists? What system actually works for managing schoolwork without things falling through the cracks?

Don't pull all-nighters. The research is clear that sleep is when your brain actually consolidates what you learned. Studying until 3am and then taking a test exhausted is worse than studying less and sleeping. Trust me, I learned this the hard way.

Teach it to someone else, even an imaginary student. If you can explain a concept simply and out loud, you understand it. If you stumble, you've found the gap you need to study. They call it the Feynman technique and it really works.
As a teacher, I see students struggle with this all the time. The most effective approach is different for everyone, but research consistently shows that active practice beats passive reading. Don't just read — do problems, write summaries, teach the material to someone else.
