While we're on the subject, I use Angelfire for free hosting. No pop-ups if you add the right meta tag.

Agreed 100%. Use a hit counter that doesn't slow down your page. StatCounter is good.

Good stuff. Don't autoplay MIDI music. A lot of visitors find it really annoying.
