Flamenet automatically locks accounts after several failed sign-in attempts in a short period to protect against brute-force attacks.
How lockouts work
After 5 consecutive failed password attempts from the same IP address, that IP is locked out for 30 minutes. You will see a message saying your account is temporarily locked.
What to do
- Wait 30 minutes and try again from the same device.
- If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password link to reset it via email — this works even during a lockout.
- If you believe you are being locked out by someone else attempting to access your account, change your password immediately and consider enabling Two-Factor Authentication.
If the lockout persists beyond 30 minutes or you suspect malicious activity, contact security@flamenet.io.
