The UCS Star Destroyer is 4784 pieces and nearly 4 feet long. Just finished building it over 3 weekends. Worth every dollar.

Bricklink is the eBay of Lego parts. Set up wanted lists and wait for sellers with good prices. Patience saves money.

Sort by piece type, not color. Fishing tackle boxes for small parts, drawer units for common bricks. Organization is everything.
